How do you remote race?

I'm sure there is a thread somewhere but I can't find it. If someone could point me in the right direction that would be awesome. I just got a PS3 and GT5 a few days ago. I've set up my driver and have my system running and am logged in to the GT site ready to start. I can select the event but can't start. Thanks.
