How do you remove red arrows?

I've had AC for about a month (love it), and I can't figure how to remove the red arrows that indicate where other cars are when in a race. I drive in cockpit mode and the arrows are annoying. I've looked at all the options and apps to no avail. Help!

AC root folder\system\cfg
Search for file proximity_indicator.ini
Set HIDE=1

Yep there is that or you can just make the indicator file itself invisible. if you dont like .ini
