How do you use the HP multiplier for game shark?

I have a game shark and im trying to figure out how to use the HP multiplier code. It multiplies your base horsepower of a car by "X.X" to give you more horsepower. What im trying to figure out is howdoes this code work?

It says HP Multiplier Slot01 then the code followed by a few "X's" for where you input the amount of gain you wish to achieve. When I do this it doesnt work, I was just wondering if any one here knows how to get this to work....... tnx

i got it to work, now my escudo has 120,000hp

when you put in the code and load your saved game the very last car you aquired will have the HP code puton it...
So, if you just went through a series and won a car, then turned the HP code on , the new car would have the multiplier on it
