How does other AI compare?

I got a pretty good handle on How the AI works in GT5. Was reading a complaint in the news feed about it and was wondering who does it differently, or better. Pretty much a GT5 only guy, but I have played Forza and remember that AI as lacking and difficult to race with without hitting. Do any of the Computer sims have better AI to race against? I like GT5 AI, was just wondering how it compares to Iracing etc because I have never played anything else.
