From what I can gather:

- Online rooms with fixed ownership allow the host to kick players at their discretion.
- Online rooms without fixed ownership allow the all players to 'Vote to Kick' individuals.

I have on several occasions voted to kick numpty drivers from public lobbies. You press 'triangle' on the dualshock while in the lobby, selected vote to kick, highlight the offending driver and select. Nothing seems to happen after that.

How does this system work?

- Is a message sent to the host or other drivers requesting a vote to kick?
- Does the system silently tally up the number of kick votes a driver has received and boot them once a number or percentage of votes is reached?

I've wondered the same thing. I've voted on 2 occasions to kick the host because they had left, but nothing seemed to happen.
Like you said it doesnt seem to do anything.

I guess if you had a lobby with 3 or more friends you could test it out to see if one person votes does it promt the other person to vote as well.

I have voted to kick a few times & it may have only worked once (I don't know if the guy left or was in fact kicked though) I have never had a window pop up asking me to kick a player though?

Basically, when you vote to kick a person, he/she will be kicked if more than half of the people in the lobby vote to kick that person. If you are the host, you can kick someone from the lobby by selecting "Reject Player".

It's half? Ok good to know, thanks.

What I've done a few times is telling all the players in the lobby to Reject player and how to do it. I keep sending the message and after a couple min it works and the host gets the boot:tup:.
