Since I first picked up these threads about x-port and these hidden cars I've been thinking about buying the x-port.
But how does this actually work?
Just connect the usb-cable and youre on?

And to get the hidden cars what do I have to do?

An xport is basically the PAL version of the sharkport. It connects from a USB port on your PC, to a USB port on the PS2. U install xport software on your PC, and there is a disc for the PS2. It allows U to transfer gamesaves, and codesaves back and forth from PS2 to PC. To get the hidden cars, or build hybrids U need MK's program to edit the gamesave on your PC and then transfer it back to the mem card.

I tried searching for the x-port but couldnt find anything satisfying.
But i heard one of the brits here say something about they removed the hidden cars from the euro version? Does this mean there is no way to get them for me except buying the american/Japanese game and a ntsc playstation? (its an expensive but possible solution)

Yes, most of the hidden car (bodies are missing in the Pal version. I believe all of the parts are there though. What a lot of the Pal users do for some of the hidden cars is to get them, and swap on a suitable body, such as the Diablo with a jag body, or the 911 with an RGT body. I believe some of the hidden car bodies are available for Pal, like the Skyline GTR-M, and maybe some of the hidden Miatas. Not sure about the Stratos. Also the F687, F686, F090/s and F094/s bodies are missing.

It's a device that lets you back up your ps2 memory card/s onto pc . You transfer the data over, thats how can swap gt3 replays etc... it's also used for cheat codes or hybrid making in gt3 (with mk's program too ) non of which I use mine for . But it is good for the price of a memory card you never need to buy another card just store all your games on pc

Still the body is very important to me, the engine isn't the car!
But if they are missing on the european hows it about the aussie one? Australia use pal, dont ya?
Then i just could get one of my mates to send it to me
