First:
After countless infuriating attempts of trying to B-spec this nasty series with a black LMP car, I decided to save up and go buy a vehicle that could do some damage on the friggen' Minolta.
I purchased the Audi R8 for $4.5 Million.
I also equipped the monster with a Stage 4 Turbo for $80k, a roll cage for $30k and some Racing: Hard tires for ~$10k.
Second:
Put racing Medium Tires on Front
Put racing Hard Tires on Back
Equip Stage 4 Turbine
Brake Controller @ 5 and 5
Ride Height at 74 and 74
ASM (over) @ 13
ASM (under) @ 13
TCS @ 7
For tracks with long straights (New York, Seoul) adjust gear ratios to
-Auto = 24
-6th Gear = .720
-Final= 3.400
For tracks with lots of turns (Opera Paris, Hong Kong)
-Auto=20
-Final = 3.700
For regular tracks (Tsukuba, El Capitan, Tokyo, etc.) leave gear ratios at
-Auto = 22
-Final = 3.500
Third:
You're about to B-Spec an entire series. Show some interest and do this very simple next task - it is the most important:
Go to "Practice" and race two laps (the first one doesn't count). Make sure you start off in pole position. As soon as the box in the upper-left corner says "1" you can exit. The computer doesn't seem to try as hard with you in the lead...plus, "B-Spec Bob" has nobody to pass.
Pitting Strategy
Easy.
Pit halfway through each race. Your front tires should be bright greenish-yellow, and the rears will be pretty much yellow.
No need to fill up with gas, so switch that to "No" every time. Put on a new set of the same types of tires (RM in front, RH in back).
I won every race and can now participate in EXTREME events.
