How is it possible to get PP650 using a Ford GT LM spec II with R3 Tyres?

Looking at the rankings for the PP650 Daytona Speedway Time Trial Pro, I saw that a GT LM was in 3rd possition using R3 tyres, I entered the race to find i could only reduce my PP to 670 using R3 tyres, I set BHP & Aerodynamics to minimum, with Weight to maximum.

How can this be? I cant see any other options for reducing PP.

He's hacking pal. I said the same thing earlier, I even went as far as to report him to Sony. Lets hope they ban him!
 
I'm really curious as to how they are doing this. Not that i'd do it myself but just curious is it an exploit in the game or is it a gameshark thing? I didn't think there was even a gameshark for the ps3
 
There is an Xploder thing over here made by CodeJunkies, maybe their using that. But the main thing is, in all online ames you are gonna get cheats, it's normal, like some guy got a 1.10 time on the ring with a tuned viper and the replay was actually 1.13 WTF?

LOL Thats stupid. We need PD to have an active anti-cheating policy, deleting cheated records. People take their best efforts to score high seriously.
 
who the hell would want to cheat on a racing game anyway? it's pathetic to see the lengths some would take just to be #1 on a leaderboard......the ability to cheat on GT will only be temporary.
 
Yeah hacking was my first thought too but I just wanted a second opinion, Im sure they can look at the scoreboards at the end of the period, check all the times and ban anyone found to be cheating from playing online, maybe that would make these loosers think twice.

i doubt that, TuneMeister.. every game can be hacked, believe me, im game programmer.. ;)

that's complicated, because those guys paid for the game and there is no point in the license-agreement about it.. even if it was, they would just change their account-name and voila, they are back ..
 
same thing has happened on the 450PP London TT. the top "racer" used a WRX with R3/R3....
 
What is the future for any more online challenges,such as Logitech Challenge if this hacking exists ? None of the good guys will have a chance if Sony / PD lets this go on.I would think something would have to be done to block them.
 
Can this be done in races because there is a certain team that always seem to have stupidly fast cars, dont use the racing line and cut corners with out penalties.

They really should BAN the PSN ID for good, and HIS PS3 from entering any ONLINE GAME!

They are doing serious VIOLATIONS! that should be perminant ban!
 
I wonder is this is just a "prologue" of things to come :lol:
