How many drivers are u using for endurance races?

Hi dudes. I was wondering how many drivers u are using for endurance races? for example u can use 4 in the first ones but ive always just used 3. How many do u use for the roadster 4 hour event? (Gonna set my ps3 to do it here tonight) :D :D
 
Depends on what you want to do. You should win any endurance race with any single driver, regardless of level, if you use a FGT or x2010 (except the Roadster 4 hour).

The Driver XP layout for endurance races is roughly: (Race XP x Number of Drivers Allowed) / Number of Drivers.

The question is whether you want one driver to get a lot of XP, or several drivers to get XP.

I have won all the endurance races other than the 24 hour ones, and only used a single bob each time.

I didn't use an F1 or X2010 for any of them. For two of them, I used an M Coupe (the Z4 type).

Bob does get a bit worse, but he bottoms out at average. He can actually be pretty racey anyway, if he's got a car that corners well. And with a single driver, you have no need to pit to replace drivers when he gets tired. Yes, you do need a better car than the competition, but it's really not that bad. The x2010 or F1 is still a good idea if it's not a timed event, because you'll finish much, much earlier. Otherwise, just put a good tune under him.

I believe this is not an option for 24 Le Mans, but I could be mistaken.

And hell, it's only fair. GT5 makes you drive every mile yourself in A Spec, so it might as well for it for you in B spec.

I always use the maximum number. Sure you can use just one, but he will run out of energy and unless you're using an owerpowered car that's a bad thing...

Usually they pit for fuel before their energy runs out so there's no need to pit just because the driver is tired. Except perhaps for the X2010 which I believe use up fuel and energy too fast so there's not so much time for the resting drivers to recover. But heck, if you're using the X2010 you're gonna win by a hundred laps anyway so not really an issue.

They pit for fuel before they run out of energy the FIRST round. But that's not always the case the second round onward. Sometimes, the drivers didn't have enough time to recover their strength between pit stops (depends on a variety of factors). Then, they are bone tired, on the fifth lap of what should be a 60 lap run, and pit again, to be replaced with another driver. The situation rapidly deteriorates from there, as 5 laps wasn't enough time for the next driver to rest.

So a lot of us have opted for a single driver because it's so much simpler and reliable. The time loss is real, but in my experience it's not terrible. I actually have often pulled very fast laps, very close to a Bob's track record, in the ninth hour of a nine hour event (fresh tires, of course).

They will also pit automatically if the tires get too worn. This tends to happen with the 4 Hour 'Ring endurance race and I usually have to force Bob to short pit.
 
i started my first endurance with 4 drivers, drop to 3 for the mazda event, and now i'm using 2 for the rest events. ignore the mental strength bar.
