I remember I was up around 20,000 once. That was my first game. I used all kinds of cheat codes and stuff on that, just to play around. It stopped being fun when all the pedestrians fought each other and carried weapons no matter what codes I put in

Near to 4,000 myself - that's in the save game - if I counted those from rampages where I didn't save, it'd probably be around 10k.

Does anyone else wonder what it would be like if the stuff that happened in GTA3 actually happened in real life? Could you imagine the response if someone actually shot down 5 or 6 police helicopters, or if someone actually killed 4,000 people as a criminal in a city.

I tried a couple of times to run low profile games where I kill the minimum number of people, but there's always unpleasantness with the taxis, vigilantes and other missions, so I give up.

Around 3,000. Not a massive total, but I prefer to carefully pick off Policemen with my rifle as opposed to all out carnage
