Hi I'm new here and I couldn't find it with the search.

But how many times can you win a car with the races.
Can I do the first race over and over and win the same car over and over.
Or can you win each car just 1 time.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to GTP, roefje.

If it is a group of 3 individual races, where there is a single prize car, you can only win that prize car one time.

If it is a series of 5 or more races, or an enduro, where the car is awarded from a group of others by the spinning wheel, you will win a car every time you re-run the series race. It may be the same car or a different one, but you will always get a car from the wheel.

Hi Duke,

Thank you for your quick answer. :)

Yeah, money is definately harder to earn in GT3, that's what i've noticed. I did the Sunday Cup and got some cheap car..did it again and nothing! OH well, in a way it's more realistic.

Finally made the jump to Three, did you?

Just don't sell any prize cars, unless you get duplicates. That's what everyone said to me 2 years ago, and it's still good advice.

Uh huh. I'll be racing GT4 in a few months tho, i guarantee it. GT3's great but the selection of cars kinda bums me out. I'll get bored with it, basically. So far I've won the Sunday Cup, Clubman, FF series, NA tune, and Turbo cup and i've sold all prize cars. Kinda have to at this point: my PT Cruiser needs all the parts it can get and money is slower in this game.

See, that's the one thing I like in GT3 over all the others; the fact that it is so hard to get a lot of money at the start of the game makes your early decisions more important.

Although every prize car in the Beginner Section (except the Acura RSX) can be bought in some form or another, sometimes they come in special colors that you can't buy. Once you crack into the Amateur stuff, it the prize money flows a lot nicer.

I won't give anything else away, but GT3 is rather fun until about 80-85% of the way through. Then, it feels like a job. So it's up to you whether you want to search for hints and stuff. Jordan's GT3 prize list is why many of us have made GTP a second home...it's that good.

And I thought it was my intelligent conversation!!!!!!! {goes off in huff}

Hey thanks, Pupik. Yeah, i'm not into spoiling surprises so i'll hold off on the prize list.

Student Driver (awesome name by the way..how come i didn't think of it?) totally agreed. I like the "struggling driver" feeling of early GT game play. Heck, i'm 2 gold trophies away from winning whatever i'll get from the B license tests and i'm stalling cuz i don't wanna make my game any easier!

Well, in terms of Google's ability to snag new users, that is.

You've show us that someone's still trying GT1 from the begining to end (except SportWagon, who's likely on his 15th new game of GT).

Sportwagon is all about GT1. He knows that game inside and out and back inside again. Ask him something and that dude will give you 5 answers. Each one has it's own link, too! He's GT1 genius

I just went back and did my B and A lisences at all gold in GT3, it won't make the game any easier, you can trust me on that - but it is worth it. 👍

And I agree, after 80-85% of the way through, it did feel like a job, but what a fun job! I really looked forward to a lot of those later races. I've had a ton of fun with GT3 and I'm still not done, just have the final F1 race series to finish off (and those blasted arcade time trials) - but I did hang on to every single prize car I've won in the game that could not be purchased or was in a color scheme that was unavailable for purchase. And I think I'm only missing just a few cars to have gotten them all, including one rather elusive F1 model :ouch:

I've gotten caught up in the OLR/WRS for GT4 though and have completely ignored the "regular" game for a while now.

But if you want some help to make it less of a chore, check out www.gtvault.com - it's a whole site dedicated to tuning setups, so for some of those more frustrating races....:trouble:

Right now the only part i can see looking like a ‘job’ is the manufactuer races. I just did a ton of them in GT2, and now they've got some in gT3. Damn, i was hoping they'd be banished. I get psyched to do the NA series, but look at the Audi TT Cup as a bit of a chore to just get it over with. I mean, i got nothing against Audis but what if i dont wanna race an Audi TT?? I certainly don't have the money to remotely even afford one yet.

The one thing I like about the manufacturer races is that the cars are all going to be relatively the same, so it's going to be a more challenging race. Other than that, yeah I agree with you. I like some of the Manu races (Evo's, Tuscan, Audi) but stuff like the Vitz, yuck.
