How many unpurchaseable cars? (and which ones)

Probably because all of these are prize cars. The 370Z Academy one is a bit confusing though, as it is one of the few cars that (actually, it is the only car) in the game that has no guaranteed way of finding it (this going by the fact that it can be in a level 12 ticket, but you are never guaranteed that the 370Z will come out specifically when you open the ticket).

You get the M3, 300SL, R8, Murcielargo and Cobra Chromelines for the Collector's Edition(at least I did.) You get the Jag XJ13 Chromeline through the GT5 Facebook game.

I did say they are obtainable through the Collector's Edition, did I not?

I think - but do not take my word on it - I saw the XFR in the UCD, though with zero miles. But as I said, don't take my word on it as it was/would've been a long time ago.

Famine is correct on the unobtainable cars, period (unless the XFR can be obtained via UCD).

After seeing the Golf cart as unobtainable, I now wish I never sold it . Thank god I have a second account .

Since there's so much arguing on whether or not you can get the XFR from the UCD, perhaps it was findable in an earlier version of the game but was removed through an update. Everyone who has claimed to see it seems to have said they saw it a long time ago, which would make sense. But on the other hand, there isn't really a very good reason for PD to have done this, other than a special reward to anyone who beat the top gear challenge(whichever one it is). Or I could just be completely wrong, which would make more sense.~Turtle

Well if anything it'd be back in the original GT version. Maybe if anyone has a second disc they can reset their game data and grind the UCD. Then again it may never gave been there.

EDIT: I may consider trying this, as I have a second Asian version disc I may go back and just keep grinding it for a while

The UCD hasn't ever changed through updates save for changing the available colours from one per model. I run one console on the original version - though it doesn't start in the same place for this reason.

Alright well I'm still going back to run the original version,since I had the game since pretty much launch day but didn't get too into it until June, so I'd like to see what it was like.
