I am curious, how much do you use your F1 car? Since they can only be used in online F1 only lobbies, and the F1 expert level seasonal, how many miles do you actually have on it? I use the F10 '10 with 1066.8 miles (1728.2km) and growing.

A little bit in the seasonals. I only drive it after getting warmed up by driving lower powered cars for a few hours. Since I have been so busy lately my F2007's and F2010's have been gathering dust.

But man if you can get dialed in do you sure make bank in those seasonals.

This. If I had a wheel I would use them more. They are pain to drive with the DS3 after you've been running 500pp cars on the regular.

I have ds3. I use them all the time

Rarely as already said, but a local series I ran had a 25 lap Spa race in the '07. T'was fun and it's a shame they don't get used more :)

I use my F10 all the time. I actually have two F10s, but I only ever use the one.
I mainly use it to test the upper limits of a newly created track when I'm not in the mood to use my X2011. As of now, my main Ferrari F10 has exactly 19.2 miles on it. I have a DS3, so I never even attempted a seasonal.

I love it, but I know how to set them up, I prefer the 2007 because it was kimi's world championship car but I own 2 of each, w of each for testing and the other for racing, my testing F2007 has more then 80,000kms on it, its down to 650bhp, and it can still go around laguna seca in 1 minute, my F10s I have a lazy all round setup because I don't like alonso or massa so I only use them when I'm looking for something different, but when I'm online I use them regularly with the guys from the F1 GTP championships, I love mixing it up with them

I've only used them a little. I find them interesting to drive but not exceptionally fun. But the main issue is just not knowing what to do with them. I don't particularly need money so I just did the seasonals once.

Driving against the AI in formula cars is not very pleasant, even if you manage to get fairly close on pace the way that they drive causes me a lot more problems than it does in most cars. So I don't tend to do that "for fun."

I'm also a bit leery of racing them online as I tend to assume everybody has killer setups on them and knows exactly what they can get out of them so I'll only get in the way. Might or might not be true, but it's kept me from joining any F1 lobbies(same with speedway racing) nonetheless.

The F1 guys laugh at my setup because its almost back to stock, but it suits my driving style, the first tip I give to anyone who asks is max your downforce at both ends, lower the gearbox top speed to cope with the maximum aero, and soften the anti roll bars to 3 and 4, the body roll becomes more visual then and gives you a bit better feel and confidence to push the car harder as you can see exactly what's going on,then just stiffen the whole car as you get more confident, (this only works on true racing tracks, not the bumpy ones like deep forest and trial mountain)

As for the ovals, PD did a great job at making the cars handling different for all of them, other then the FGT you can't really carry over setups for each of them and be competitive, but I have killer setups for all the ovals, my motegi setup isn't quite right for running away or racing on my own but if I catch a draft I'm able too keep up,

Never, hate it. I'm a NASCAR car driver.

So what's your higher Nascar car Milleage? loll...
Mine is the 1st one i bought, RedBull Vickers 2010, it had 17 500km on it (lost 2 HP.. 903 instead of 905)... after that i have all the 21 others with around 6000 KM... that's a lot of Nascar Milleage.. ( no gift car, my cars are all the one i bought since the beginning, one of each colors)

For my F1 2007 had 2200 km and F 2010 had 1100km. If you want to race Formula cars better play real F1 game than GT5.. same thing with rally which is not that great in GT5.

I only just bought mine for the recent seasonal and that is the only time I have used it. When I want to race F1 I break out the F1 game, it is much better than the F1 in GT5.

Bought an 07 for the seasonal, realised I am terrible at this game, quit after less than half a lap of the first race.

So, .7 miles?
Need to get a decent around setup and give it another bash

Quite a bit, though I haven't seen a F1 room online for a while. It would be nice if the restriction was not there, but given that the only serious F1 race you can have is one with F1 cars, it doesn't really make the F2007 and F2010 much less useable than they would be. The biggest casualty is Ferrari vs FGT.

I'm also a bit leery of racing them online as I tend to assume everybody has killer setups on them and knows exactly what they can get out of them so I'll only get in the way. Might or might not be true, but it's kept me from joining any F1 lobbies(same with speedway racing) nonetheless.

A good way to deal with that is to go online and race and find out. Then if it's true, ask people about their setups.

I find that making F1's competitive is easy. I actually barely tune anything and I stand a fair chance at winning many races online. With F1, just max out downforce and then make sure your gearing fits the track.

^ This. I only drive the F2007 with the number 6 on it. I have both the darker and lighter version of it. I don't feel like buying Massa's F2007 and I only have the F10 because a ticket gave me one. Never used it.

I have three or four Ferraris, I;ve used one of them once and another for the latest F1 Seasonal.

I much prefer a high powered Sports racer, Bentley, Sauber-Mercedes C9 and the like.
