How much does doing a clean lap matter?

Are there any incentives, besides more money/exp?

How about in autovista when passing slower cars? :ouch:

If there is an achievement maybe I would give this a shot, like maybe a percentage of how many clean laps you do and staying in that higher percentage...
 
if you dont care about leaderboard then you dont need to drive any clean lap.
 
Yup, it's a distinction to separate laptimes on the leaderboards. No one drives cleanly against the AI for every race, all the time.
