How much longer before something happens that changes life on earth?

you guys say 5 billion years like thats a few years or something. there is ABSOLUTELY NO WORRY AT ALL if were gonna explode in 5+ billion years. hell, our great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-(you get the picture)great-grandchildren will live and die and still have have about 4billion years or so before earth explodes. all im saying is calm down, no worries everybody:D

are you sure it wont explode because we disobey our parents?:odd: thats not what mommy and daddy told me:lol:

I think things happen everyday that change the world and life upon it.

But just my little 2 cents.
 
I agree with 'Earth' on things being bad, corruption and such, but rest assured it'll get way worse in a while and I have a feeling we're not gonna still be on this planet when the real **** starts so...
I'm just goint to keep breathing for now and hope I don't have kids 'cause their future would only be more depressing.

Stupid thing is, eventually they're going to be right. Just not right now.

The fact that you have posted in 3-4 old threads that i have seen tonight suggest to me that you were using the "search" function
 
At the exponentially increasing current rate of cosummation, I predict this planet will be irrepairably damaged within 300 years.
Pollution will significantly shorten the average lifespan, regardless of medical advancement.
Disease will become rampant due to overpopulation.

However, there are so many variables that could prevent this stuff.
As of now, though, the number of people is increasing and the average intelligence of people is decreasing.
In fact, I have become dumber by simply posting here.

Isn't it crazy, though, how we have another potentially inhabitable planet right next door? I really don't think that we have to worry about overpopulation anytime soon, or irrepairable damage. Besides, your stat for the damage is innaccurate, and we're actually gonna have the pollution thing handled soon, I would imagine. Humanity has this odd way of overcoming obstacles. The overpopulation and consumption issues are simply a little bit bigger than anything else we've seen (I shouldn't say that, as there are much bigger obstacles in store, but I'll keep my lips sealed for now).

Hmm, releasing that much nuclear waste into the atmosphere wouldn't probably be too good of an idea; and nuking the land would make it uninhabitable for the next couple hundred years or so, so we couldn't really expand that way; not to mention all the artwork and awesome stuff they've got over there. Europe and Asia are awesome... (America is equally awesome...)
