How not to start an online GT4 race at Suzuka

Yesterday I thought I'd do a bit of online racing. So I joined the Suzuka GT4 race at short notice so I didn't qualify and ended up at the back of the grid. But that wasn't too much of a problem as I'm not too good and I thought I'd hang around near the back to try and improve my SR. However that didn't quite go to plan given the start...



So before I've really done anything I've got a 2 second penalty and some -SR !
 
How are you able to remote play GTS (or any other game that require quick reactions)?
 
This is a good example of why you need to watch your mirrors into heavy braking zones, especially at lower SR levels.

You may know the braking point. You have no idea if the people behind you do or not. In cases like this, I usually take the alternate line from the guy behind me. If they brake late, they lock the brakes as soon as they try to turn in and slide off into the runoff area.

Of course, it's unfortunate that this happened at the end of the formation lap.

Remember: part of having a high SR is that you plan for your opponents being dangerous and not putting your car into dangerous situations.

There's virtually no lag between the PS4 and the Mac, so it's pretty easy. However, the resolution is inferior and it can pixalate quite badly. So it can add an extra challenge! It's fine for livery editing and scapes etc.
 


Fun times. Unavoidable for the victim if you ask me..

Wtf. I didn't have sound and thought you had a lag spike the first time I watched it that guy was so far back in your mirror from the start of race till impact. :)
