First they put a lot of afford into the project. They went to Nürburgring an made tons of pictures of it because the GPS data were not accurate enough for them. Then they had to measure the (premium) cars and make pictures of them because the "CAD" data they received from were not accurate enough.. As Kaz stated they do not show how light and shadows reflect on the dashboard .... (Looking at the awesome shadows makes us realize that this afford was taken in the right place)

But unfortunately the bad bad company Sony told PD that they must eventually release the game and that only five years after they promised to.

So they had finished only 200 "premium cars" (where 150 of them were "Skylines") so they took the rest of the 1000 cars from GT1 and 2 and imported them on the PS3.

Then they rent a monkey from a laboratory (that only had his brainstem an cerebellum left of his whole brain) and mad him create "special event" - and when the monkey went tired he even had to do the "A - Spec" mode.

But when it came to create "AI" they didn't know what to to ....
... but then they turned on american TV and there they got there answer what they will base there "AI" on:

O dear.

GT4 was made in 5 years and had way more content than GT5. I don't see how this is Sony's fault at all. Basically the only thing PD did in 5 years was make 200 good looking cars, everthing else, the cars, the tracks is ripped from GT4.

And yes, I agree A Spec is a ****ing joke.

And here I was expecting a detailed account on the inner workings of the game company.

Not what amounts to yet another poorly informed and not very factual rant.

Locked.
