how powerful is my car REALLY?

hi, i've searched the forums and couldn't find anything helpful regarding this...

Question1:

i've got the PAL version of GT4, and when i try to see how much power (KW) my car has it differs depending on where i'm looking, there's a power readout at the start of my replays, then there's a power readout in the right hand corner on the settings page before a race, then there's another readout when i hit start in the settings page and i view the graph thing, n then when u get to the page where u can sell a car from ur garage there's another power readout

so which one's which and which one's the right one?
i've tried viewing the power readings in HP instead of KW and there seems to be fewer differences between the different readouts but i'm still lost
pls help!

Question2:

at the start of the replay it sometimes says stuff like (the stats of my car, and car name and then) SM/SM.... what's SM/SM mean?

Question3:

i know there are certain cars u can't use in SIM mode or in 2 player battle, but is there any way around this? isn't there some cheat code or something?
it would rock to race against my buddies in the nike car or the prowler...

Q2:
These are the types of tires you ran, SM/SM being "Sports Medium" grade tires. If you were to choose a different tire for the rear, say "Sports Hard", it would read SM/SH

Q3:
Not that I am aware of but I have been wrong before. Don't try cheating devices with GT4, there is an array of problems that can occur. I would recommend to just suck it up and try competing in cars that arent "special". If you really want to drive them, practice the Nurburgring.

Yep, as in SM tyres means "Sports Medium", SS "Sports Soft" etc, ect. It could be different on the rear or front, so it could be SM/SS.

I don't know if you can race the Nike car in 2 player mode but single player arcade races accept it, though you get only one opponent.. How about the other special cars?

Edit: had to check it out, can't use the Nike in 2 player battle races :(
 
About Question 2: It is the tire type you have on your car. You have Sports Medium on the front and Sports Medium on the rear SM/SM. Got it?

Question 3: You can practice with the special cars in Simulation mode, but only practice, not race.

Thats terrible, 'cause that Toyota Triathlon electric car would own Skylines. I love driving it on the 'ring.
 
Just checked it out, Toyota MTRC has got the same conditions as the Nike car, you can race it in single races of Arcade mode, but not in 2 player battles. It's also the same with Chrysler Prowler
