as title says really...

i won the minolta from 'like the wind' and bob won me the gt40 69 on 200lap indy with it, now im doing the same on a spec and although ive paused it a few times(one time to go pub lol) it is a very boring race lol even though ive made the car much faster, im paused on lap 116 right now, to make this thread...

so as my bob is nearly lvl 30 im thinking after ive won this race i will just let the bobs keep racing it, so i can get to 35 and get the x1 :sly: and if it makes the 200 lap less boring then i will start doing a bit of grinding in that race as 247k cr is a nice sum...

Can easily hit 305mph on indy. Don't A-spec grind the 200 lap Indy, it's a waste of time, 5 laps in like the wind gets you 70,000 I think, that's less than 3 minutes in the Red Bull.

It runs around the 30 second, or low 30's per lap at the Indy "oval". So, it's really really quick. I would even call it "Stupid fast".

Why?

Whenever I got up for snacks, answer the phone, take out the garbage, I just hold down the accelerator. If you're driving the x2010 you'll still run 45 second laps while riding the wall in the corners.

cheers for replies...so pretty fast then aye lol ;)..

im also texting, so cant do all things haha...

tbh i gave up the grind on 'like the wind' indy as the american one offers 97k for 5 laps and now i got that gt40 it should be faster than the RM ZR1 i used to win 'LTW' event which ive now gifted to a friend.... i was just thinking if i can do this 200lap indy quicker than what i will do(excluding pauses) , with the x1, then it should be a quick and easy 247k cr grinde....

i can hit 305mph too
i thought i went 307mph too........

To put it simply:
****-in-your-pants-so-fast-that-you'll-effing-explode-there-is-no-skill-usuable-in-driving-it-on-a-road-course-it-is-just-reacting-and-not-dieing-while-trusting-that-it-has-enough-grip-to-corner-at-∞mph-(which it can) fast

An endurance race is never the fastest grind.

Not to go off topic, but in some cases it is. If you're trying to get the maximum amount of cash per used car dealership day. But that said, then the fastest is to simply leave the PS3 off and let ur remote race friends earn you some cash...

lol, well ive finally done it, got a bit nervous on last lap as the fuel gauge went red :dopey:...

xj13 '66, nice 👍

edit: listening to music via ipod(shuffle) made over 60 laps of the better side of 100(+) less boring...

You can earn 280K credits in Like the Wind Indy in 12 minutes vs. 247K credits in the 2 hours it takes to run the Indy 500.

In the same amount of time you earn 247K credits in the Indy endurance race you will earn over 2 million credits racing Like the Wind Indy.

Not to mention, with Like the Wind Indy you don't have to babysit the race. In the Indy 500, your car will only go 28 laps without pitting before it runs out of gas.

I'm not sure what's the top speed although I've hit 440km/h before. But to know how fast, can only imagine while an Audi R10 is accelerating in its 120-130km/h, the Bull is already charging in its 250km/h range. Hope this can help you have a feel on how fast the X10 is.

You obviously did'nt read the orginal post :banghead:

OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD, THIS IS EFFING STUPID, I CANT THINK FAST ENOUGH TO MAKE USE OF THE GRIP, IM GETTING JAMES MAY'S FIZZY THING
Fast.
Like an F1 car, times 3.

it will have you saying to yourself "i cant do this!".

its that quick! Funnily enough i dont think it takes as much skill as the FGT to drive. I use the long 180 degree right hander on Tokyo as an example. With the FGT, you have to find the point when you are right on the limit between grip and understeer, and keep it there, constantly making steering and throttle adjustments. With the X1, its foot to the floor, turn the wheel, over in 2 seconds. Having said that, for some circuits like Suzuka, finding the highest entry speed can be difficult, as the speed is, well, its not unmanageable, but its hard to control finely. Missing a breaking point can mean a trip to the barriers or losing 0.2 of a second. I cant imagine the amount of practice it would take to gold all 3 Seb Vettel events!

 thanks for the responce...

i have actually drove one in the vettel challenge(im lvl 31), but cant even get bronze on the first 2 tracks and havnt attempted the 3rd and as im finding it a bit difficult to drive i havnt gone flat out on some of the straights in the challenge which is why i asked how fast it can go ;)..
