I was playing Ferrari The Race Experience with my 3 year old DFGT yesterday, I was driving a bit agressively in some areas and toward the end the steering wheel felt pretty light and easy to turn.
So have any of you DFGT owners broke one from just playing? I'm hoping it's just the game's setup that makes it lighter to steer. Wouldn't want to fork out more money on another wheel especially if PS4 doesn't accept PS3 wheels. :guilty:

I'm sorry, I can not answer your main question, but why would not the PS4 support the DFGT, or the G27 or whatever... PS3 also accepted the DFP from PS2 and the G25 ( not sure if 2 or 3)

I haven't "broken" one, but I've experienced the same, in GT5.

I can say, it surely doesn't feel half as sturdy as my current T500 RS.

Well Sony hasn't said it will or will not support PS3 accessories. It doesn't support any of it's games and to keep costs down they might have not included compatibility for old accessories.

Well, I thought it would be possible to play 3 games on the 4... However, that does not really interest me as I am not going to get the 4...:dopey:

@Dean J: I just want your opinion: What is better, G27 or T500?:)
Sorry this questin is off-topic :guilty:

My DFGT is little more than two years old, i've used it quite a bit. Played every event in Test Drive Ferrari with it, TDU2, golded the X1 challenge... i'd say that's fair abuse of use. Although every game I make the FFB pretty much nonexistant. Still calibrates correctly, pedals arn't screwy.

I'd say for what it is, it's proven to be quite robust.

I had the same with my DFGT from the beginning in GT5, like the FF couldn't handle fast movements. Mine is broken now after a fast steering movement.

The same with my G27, I have the feeling the FF is not as tough as it's supposed to be.

Logitech wheels are very overrated in my mind but their prices are so low that kind of statement would be unfair.

But a wheel that doesn't afford you to drive at your maximum is the worst thing about these accessories, ability to turn regulary with fast and violence is the most important part in a wheel with the precision part.
