I've tried searching this forum for help, but it's a loaded dice when my search phrase contains 'recommended'. It seems every third thread is 'recommending' cars or help or advice or guides on one topic or another. So, apologies in advance if my query has been covered.
I've started hosting an online race with mates every week -- first was last weekend -- and I'm stuffed if I can figure out how to work the car selection.
I want to do a one-make race, using a car of my choice. For example, the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG, or the Lexus LFA, or M3 GTR, or Chevrolet Corvette Z06, etc etc.
It seems I am unable to force all participants to use any cars other than the 52 on the 'Recommended' page in the garage.
In My Lounge > Regulation settings, I can select <No Limit>, but that means every participant must already own the exact same car with the exact same mods, etc etc (we don't want anyone cheating, now do we!).
If I tick 'select from garage' I get a list with 52 predefined cars across a range of manufacturers. Not a bad spread, but way short of GT5's full complement. And fact is, many of my personal favourites are not on the list.
Short of the richest bloke in our group 'buying' eight examples of each week's car and giving one to everyone, is there a way to set up a one-make race with a car of my choosing outside the 52 'Recommended'?
Or is it possible for me to add cars to the recommended list?
