I am aware that i can use my own music instead of PD's music. I tried putting my music (which is from itunes) in a USB, but when i plug it into my PS3, there is no music found. Must be the format, although I am not sure. Is there a way to convert my music into the right format from itunes? After that, how do I put them in GT5?

I had this problem with iTunes music. Try going to the external device under 'MUSIC' in the XMB and pressing Triangle, then go to 'show all'. When I done this I found all my music but with strange 4 lettered names. (Example: CDVD for Micheal Jackson's Smooth Criminal. )

This should be in the PS3 discussion thread, shouldn't it?

Yep, but kinda belongs in here. But anyways,

I think GT5 can only read mp3 files. So you can convert a file to an mp3 file, if possible (.avi to mp3). Can't share a converter, though.

music can be played online if voice chat is disabled, I think the room owner has to disable it.

my music works fine if i want it to. i dont, music to me is surround sound engine noise.

but, the key is to quit using apple. apple tries to make everything propriatary. you can google a copyright stripping program and convert them to regular files so u can quit being an apple fluffer and then they will work fine. just share your music folder to the 'unknown device' which is your ps3 over your wireless connection. copy the files to your ps3 and import them into gt5. completely easy.
