How To Be A Cop in GTA IV *NO MODS!*

Welcome to The LCPD
There are a few different ways to do this. Some Require Cheats:
Cheats you many need (Open your phone (Up on console) then hit up once more to open the keypad) :
  • Erase Wanted Level: 267-555-0100 (COP-555-0100)
  • (Optional) FIB Buffalo: 227-555-0100 (CAR-555-0100)

    You Will Need (Optional but Recommended):
  • Pistol: The Classic LCPD Gun of Choice 👍
  • Baseball Bat: Great for Melee and can stop running suspects.
  • Cop Car of some type: This way you can call for backup.

    How to do it.
    There is two main ways: Intense high speed chases. (Often ending in killing the suspect) And Patrol Units (Typical Traffic Cop).

    Intesnse
    1. Get in your cop car.
    2. Shoot a few rounds of a gun into the sky (May require Wanted level wipe afterwards)
    3. Look for any speeding cars. (Usually the one directly in front of you.)
    4. DO NOT turn on your sirens! This will cause the suspect to stop, and put a 5 second stop to the chase.
    5. If the chase escalates to dangerous levels, begin to attempt to shoot out the tires.
    6. If the chase is still very high-stakes. You may try the P-I-T, or, if you have too, shoot the driver.
    7. The driver will often run red lights, drive on the wrong side of the road, and speed, often leading to a deadly accident.

    Patroll
    1. Get in your cop car.
    2. Wait for some sort of petty crime or service. (Fender Bender, Speeding, Ect.)
    3. Pull the suspect over, pull in front of them, and call for back up.
    4. When backup comes. Go to the suspect and punch their car.
    5. 9/10 times they will get out and want to fight.
    6. Let them chase you next to the backup.
    7. Let the suspect punch you.
    8. The backup will get out and arrest them.
    9. EXTRA: If you are by a police officer without a car, (EX: The Triangle) They will lead the suspect into your car and you can drive them around :D

    NOTE: You are a police officer, not a mainiac. Keep the citizens in mind!

I saw this thread's name in the recent posts and i was like "someone in GTP still plays GTA 4?" and i went to check it out...

...didn't realize it was a 2013 old thread until i read the posts. :boggled:
