hi!ive problem with with professional league ..the big prob is my car oversteer after 6-7th lap..so.. i want to know...if i entered the pit..do the pit will change my tire to another tyre.??after entering the pit ive noticed my car is oversteered ...after entering the pit my position will dropped to 3rd place..and its possible to beat the 1st car on 8th lap...so i need your advice how to beat the cpu without entering the pit...

im using DENSO SARD SUPRA..with good setting..but cant deal with major tyre damage after 7th lap..my tyre is wear off...so...how to solve this problem?

Tire wear only applies if you are in two player mode.
To get ten full laps out of your tires you may have to switch to T2 or T3s from the Medium (T5) tires.
Then you must drive VERY smoothly.
Pit Strategy is the KEY to winning at the Pro League level.

I don't understand this comment, Gil. Tire wear is a factor in Simulation Mode races. Am I missing something?

louge84, the second part of what Gil said is correct. All race cars come with T5 tires (go to the Tune Shop, look under Racing Tires, and you will see). These grip well but will not last more than about 7 laps (when they go red, as you have found, they do not control the car any more). Pitting will give you fresh tires, but each pit stop costs you about 20 or 25 seconds.

If you go to harder tires (try T3s), they will grip a little less, but they will get you through a 10-lap race without having to pit. Try that and see how it works.

Good luck!

Duke see italics above.
When you turn tire wear off it only applies in two player and arcade mode.
Sorry for the confusion.

the T2 is hard but less control...yeah i notice that...yeah...

thanks for the pit strategy...But the Mazda 78787(am i correct) is hard to beat..but at the 8th lap the car is less grip...thanks
pit strategy is the key to win.

its 787B, and he will give you crap throughout pro league, where he is racing. i always use T5 tires, i go to lap 6 on 10 lap races before pitting. that way if i pit early and have control over my car i know if i can make it to lap 10 without trouble, and without pitting again.

Ah. I took that to mean his tires were wearing out. I understand where you were coming from now.

 how can Those Mazda 787B and Nissan R390 racing through 10 laps without pitting...wtf their trying to do?i find the strategic time to win is at the 8th lap(this time those two cars wracked)..am i right?

Can my prof league strategy can be use as endurance league strategy??

Can you all pro racer tell me which is ideal lap [1-10th lap] for pitting for professional league ??????

Try T3 tires on your car. You will probably not have to pit at all. I don't know how badly the Supra wears the tires, but the Viper Oreca will go at least 10 laps on T3s without pitting.

For Enduros, I usually use T2s. They will last anywhere from 15-20 laps, depending on the car. That really reduces the number of pit stops you must make. For instance, at the R246 Enduro, I only made 6 pit stops. The Raybrig NSX made 14.

neon duke:

its possible for me to get a full of stabile if i use t2's tyre installed on my supra...even the t2's get stable when its indicate in yellow colour.....

Each tire has a cycle. Blue is cold, and slippery. As tires warm up they get green, then yellow, then orange. The best traction and stability seems to happen when tires are yellow, but even orange tires are good. When they turn red, they are even worse than when they are blue.

However, if you compare yellow T2 tires and T5 tires and yellow T5 tires, the T5s are still better, even though the T2s are as good as they can be.

Also, if you are finishing the race on yellow tires, you will lose time at the beginning because the tires are warming up slowly. You are also ending the race with tires that are not worn out yet. Try going to one level softer tires so that you finish the race on orange tires.

So really, the best strategy is to use the softest (highest T number) tire that will last through the whole race without pitting.

If the race is too long for one set of tires, use the softest tire that will last to the middle of the race, and pit once, after the middle lap.

:O neon duke:

you are right..after trying with T2 tyre on the first 3 professional league...i win all the races...the tyre condition is good especially when it get between green to yellow....but my lubricant oil finished...so how to solve this problem when entering series racing....does those oil resulting major cause in racing?????

ther is no ability to turn tire wear off in professional league is there?

hello...my lubricant oil is out of use..its going to be indicate in my meter...so..can this problem can cause major problem to my car acceleration?

Actually, it will cause a loss of Horsepower. Some of the old timers among us buy all the Upgrades for the car then add on as the oil gets used up and the car gets slower.
In other words, if you have all levels of Turbo, you would go from stock, to level one, or level two turbo.
That way the loss of Horsepower isn't as big a burden in the later races. Because the game's AI gets faster as you get further into the series.

There is no way to change your oil during a long series. When the oil light comes on, your power will begin to drop for a few races, but after a while it will not get any worse. After the series is over, when you change the oil, most of that power will return. If it is a long series some power may be lost permanently, but not too much.

As Gil said above, I try to keep an extra power modification in case I need it during a long series. If I have started with Turbo 1 on the car, I will buy Turbo 2 but not install it at the beginning. Then when the oil light comes on and the power drops, I switch from Turbo 1 to 2 and get the power back.

Otherwise you must use a car that is much too fast in the early races, to make sure you can win the later races.

man i ve two problem in winning this two league....

Gran Turismo ALL STARS
Gran Turismo World Championship

I have a major prob winning that race almostly by the middle of the race..i mean after winning 5 race my 6th race sucks...When I entered gran turismo all stars i ve to face with mazda 787b and nissan r390 and toyota gt-one...

when i entered gt world championship ive to face those car again..so...how to defeat them...

Im using DENSO SARD SUPRA...do i need a highest boosted power racing?:odd: is CASTROL MUGEN HONDA suitable to defeat this two type car?or i need other car?

Well, you're facing purpose-built Le Mans-style race cars with a Japanese GT-500 class touring car. It's going to be hard to win, and I think you would need to be an excellent driver to do it, if it's even possible.

My suggestion is to take the Supra to the "Like The Wind" race. Run a few practice laps and make the Autosetting on the transmission wide enough that the car will be just below the redline when it is going as fast as it will go. From that race you will win the Mazda 787B, which will beat the other race cars in the All Stars and the GT World Championship.

Good luck!
