Hey guys, I want to know how to calculate the result of power of Nitrous (from 10% to 90%).
I know that 100% is doubled power (for example, I have an Integra with 440 HP of boost and 880 HP on Nitrous! So, 440 + 440= 880 HP.)
But can somebody help me to calculate, please?

The maths to work out percentages is as follows:-

If you want to find out 80% for instance:

440bhp divided by 100 = 4.4bhp (this = 1% )
4.4bhp X 80 = 352 bhp

You then add this to your original BHP figure to find out the total

440bhp + 352bhp = 792bhp

Understand?

That works, but it's even easier to just multiply the base HP by 1.XX where "XX" is the % added.

For example, if you have 440 hp with 80% nitrous, the power with nitrous is 440 multiplied by 1.80.

440 * 1.80 = 792

This way saves a few steps. :)

ahh yes, that does work very well, maths was never my strongest subject

The logic in your answer was perfect, I'm just lazy. ;) The way I figure it, if you can apply math correctly to a real-life situation, even if it involves a few more steps than another method would, you're still doing it right. :)

Or the percentages could be how much you open the valves on the end of the bottle. My EG6 didn't feel like it had 600hp even on a hundo shot.. This is confusing me as much as the gearbox ratios where you have to play by ear.

I think it's the amount the valves are open (which affects the flow rate and therefore how quickly the tank is used up) rather than an expression of power. What does the in game help say? I'm guessing it's as vague and non specific ad usual.
