Hi Guys!!!

I would like to know if any of you know a way to email suggestions or petition lists to Polyphony Digital, regarding issues about Gran Turismo Sport!

Instead (if nobody has that email information) does anybody knows if there is some Polyphony Digital Forum or way of contacting them, regarding such issues... (suggestions... mostly..)????

I don´t know if such exists.. even here on GTPlanet... there may be a thread with that intentions... (that I don´t know of...) the idea is to get to someone from Polyphony Digital that matters, and be capable of passing on suggestions to improve some parts of GTS game play!

Simply as that!!

Thanks for your attention!!

If you go to gran-turismo.com (select your country), at the bottom of the front page there is a link to the appropriate forum.

This is the most official place (disregarding social media) to post your issues/suggestions/thoughts on the game.
Typically it will be a GT dedicated board on an official SONY PlayStation forum.

As far as I know there isn't an official channel. Most people resort to posting on here or tweet @ Kaz's account.
Hi NJ!

I must thank you for your answer, although as I´m not used to the utilization of Tweeter... I will need at least to clarify just this:
- to contact Kaz or leave some message that we may have some chance of being read by him, I must have an "address" or something that connects me to him (or his Tweet "Box"/"Feed" like).. Isn't it??? That "address" (conection) is it @kaz ??? or something like???

:)

Thanks Tassie!

Regarding this important information you´ve given, do you have any feed-back about such Forum suggestions&questions and so.. actually & trully having been answered or taken in consideration by Polyphony???

You've put me between a rock and a hard place.

Let me just say this.

Sure, be one of the cows in the cattle herd of Twitter.
Maybe your comment will be seen, odds are probably not.

You would be better off (in my opinion) putting your thoughts forward here.
GTPlanet is a 3rd party/independent fan site (call it what you will), but an incredibly popular, if not the most popular, Gran Turismo site on the Web.
PD, even though many here would love to argue, aren't dummies.
They monitor this site, and management here have accessible contact with PD.
So if it's a choice of Twitter or here, it's an obvious choice.

To take it up a notch, the official SONY forums is the only legitimate place above this website that is available to the general public. (IMO)
PD will monitor those forums, as evident to the link they provide on the GT website.

So there's some food for thought.

*Edit*
No offense intended to the Twitter/Facebook fans BTW.

No worries, it's quite simple. You just type a tweet and put @Kaz_Yamauchi in it. Don't expect a direct response, though :)

Thanks NJ! :) Once more!!! Priceless Help! :)

Thanks Tiger!!! Once more, for your advice! :)

I understand the importance of GT Planet, but I can not neglect the importance of other lines of communication ... all added up they may help to get some important message through... until it reaches the right guys... :)

Any update on this? I've lost DR for 3 Races that have all glitched out for me, does polyphony expect people to stay in bugged lobbies or something? I'm actually quite angry as I'm all the way at the bottom of D because of this especially given yesterday I was nearly C, I want my ****ng DR back Polyphony this is ridiculous !

If I had serious concerns about the game I would submit a tech support ticket through Sony Playstation. When I used to work at Activision we would always receive tech support issues that were game related via both the Publisher email and the Developer email. Everything was taken seriously and noted and compared to the QA and development notes. These issues could be anything from gameplay and progression bugs all the way to hardware related issues.

Many times though, QA would already have noted the issue months in advance and would simply use the collected Customer tickets to validate their ongoing issues with the game. So it probably seemed like a waste of time from the customer's perspective, but internally they did have an effect on the title.

One does not simply contact Polyphony digital (too lazy to meme it today).

;)

History has shown that PD doesn’t give a **** about the player base feedback. They set up a roadmap and do their thing. Japanese. ´Nuff said.

You think Americans got it better?

What I mean is that their way of doing things doesn’t allow for outsider criticism. Losing face and all, and being the self-perceived cream of the crop. They could never admit that they haven’t delivered a perfect product, therefore no changes will be made based on user feedback.

I don’t feel that those attributes you suggest are necessarily accurate of being “Japanese” as a whole. After living here long enough, it’s pretty clear in my eyes that the “fear of losing face,” “unable to admit fault,” etc. style comments often thrown about in regard to Japan do not reflect upon the society as a whole any more than they would with regard to my home country (USA). There are of course individuals within that may operate in such a manner, but I would argue to say such personalities exist anywhere.

That being said, I personally also disagree about your statements regarding PD. Based on what I’ve read, they have their own roadmap, and yet at the same time have made adjustments based on feedback (ex: physics, penalty system), whether it be during the live events or from the community. It’s true, they’ve never admitted to not having delivered a perfect product, and yet at the same time don’t believe they’ve pushed the idea that they have. What they have done, and that I can appreciate, is shown a continued allocation of resources (however small at this point in time) to updating their 2017 game with new content and adjustments, flawed or otherwise.

I mean, we've got a bunch of the most-suggested cars into the game, and the Daily Races have changed since Kazunori Yamauchi thanked us for bringing it to his attention and said he'd pass it onto the team responsible, but sure.

The idea that PD is going to 'fix' the issues you think they have in a game that's over 2 years old (including beta) is very, very hard for me to understand. They are deep into the development of the next game, what do you hope to achieve? I am always reminded of a child tugging on the sleeve of a parent at the store checkout, begging for candy and close to a meltdown. But I waaaaaannnnnnttt iiitttttttt......

A hint, from someone who deals with customer feedback on racing engines: If you want to be heard, be professional. No whining, no stories, just the facts. No text-speak. If I see 'U' instead of 'you' in an email....hard to take 'U' seriously, kiddo. Articulate your points clearly. Show that you have at least some understanding of the process, as it's once again hard to listen to someone who knows absolutely nothing about how your product is made, but has all kinds of advice about how to make it better (while typically ignoring the added cost or market reality). Consider all the types of feedback you get every day-how do you react when attacked or criticized? Approach matters.

The evidence is clear when it comes to Kaz and PD: They do what they want. Kaz made his money already, he's a legend. He has EARNED the right to proceed as he pleases, and I think it's that more than anything that drives modern people crazy. The internet is used to having it's feelings validated, it's pressure responded to. Kaz has his own plans for the future of GT, sales be damned. He will not validate your needs. I hope he never does.

I have one issue and one issue only. And I will belly-ache about it until the cows come home. When you have video and audio evidence of a person intentionally ruining other peoples' races, that player needs to be banned. Not just one occasion, but every time this person is in a race. I get mistakes on the track. But this particular player, who is a grown man by-the-way, is telegraphing his intentions both verbally and written in the pre-race chat. Now, every time I want to race, I have to go online to see if he's streaming live in order to avoid him. We should be able to report these types of people directly to PD.

Keith.

I heard there’s this white mailbox, on a deserted road somewhere deep in a Japanese forest, where you can deliver letters, which can only be written in a rainbow colored Comic Sans font and must be in a green envelope, but only strictly personally delivered and after performing a ritual dance that includes singing the lyrics to ‘Moon over the castle’ backwards.

I couldn’t resist

Well, after using google translate and maps, I have a rough idea where their Tokyo Studio is located.

I also happen to be in Tokyo at the moment for a few more days. Should I go knocking on their door and ask for Kaz...? :dopey:

Stir the pot and see what happens. LOL
Make sure you spray paint "We want the classic tracks back" on the front of the building, that usually works.

As much as I like Japan, I rather pass on the jail experience.

Also, while here, I took a trip to R246 and Honda's Aoyama showroom.

Found this magnificient beast hiding in there:

Also saw few other, lesser models of transportation aswell, but I doubt anyone finds them interesting.

McLaren showroom had the chassis of their cars on display but couldn't take a picture because of glare on the glass.
