How to create a poll?

May be a stupid question, but how do I create a poll?

When you start a new thread, you have this option at the bottom of the screen where you type your reply:

After you check the box and enter in how many poll options you'd like, hit the Submit Reply button and you are then taken to the screen where you can type your question and responses for the poll.

If you've already made the thread, click on "Thread tools" and there should be an option to make a poll.

I dont seem to have this, im using the mobile app. Im i just being particularly blind or is there another way to do this on ipod touch
