How to delete friend's player profile in the GT community tab

Hi Guys,
I had tried to search for answer and post in my local forum.. None seems to know how.. As i had many players in the GT community online tabs who I seldom race with, I wish to delete them so that the loading would be faster and easier for me to search. Is this action possible? I figure round the function and the triangle button, no function available for me to delete...

Even when I deleted the friends from PS3 PSN list, the player still appear in game community tab. Hope someone can advise me pls. Thank you.
 
Did you turn the game off after deleting them and restart it? If you didn't, that should fix it.

I did reboot ps3 and games after deleting friends from psn. But in GT online community tabs the friends profile still there. It is never deleted. Weird right? You mean if we delete from ps3 psn list, we should not see them in GT5 community tab? Thanks...

Hope more kind bros can help me verify if my game had gone crazy haha. As i always need to wait for the loading to scroll up and down a long list to find friends who i really wish to race.
 
That is odd. I've never had to delete anyone, but if I accepted a request in-game the person wouldn't show until I rebooted the game. Sorry I couldn't help :(.
