(Apologies if this has already been posted about, I had a quick look before I posted this and couldn't find anything.)
Gran Turismo 4 has some pretty pathetic smoke graphics. You yank that handbrake, throw it into a corner and all you get is a puff or two of smoke, which are gone in about half a second.
Now if you're like me, you really love staging nice, smokey drift pics. But without the amazing smoke, it doesn't really have the same effect....
To remedy this, record your replay then fast forward the playback! The cars will go faster, but the smoke graphics won't, so you'll get more smoke in the shot and it'll look more impressive. (Also note: This technique also works on the dust and snow graphics on dirt and snow tracks!)
It still looks pretty bad compared to GT5 and GT6, but it's an improvement!
