how to get my lead b-spec bob out of week long depression?

My b-spec bob named "P. Farkas" has been depressed for about a week now. I'm thinking its GF related.

His arrow is always pointing down, and he hasn't even lost a race recently.

I tried buying him new cars, and throwing him in to easy races, to take his mind off the pain, but nothing seems to be working :(

He's my best driver, and hes totally worthless in the higher level b-spec races.

arrow down=he needs a break. Get another driver and use him for a while

I have 4 drivers that I alternate between. Usually 2 of them have downward facing arrows.
 
Fire his ass. There is nothing to be depressed about, he races cars for a living. FML!
 
I race mine anyways. Especially during a championship, I will see his arrow change.

I think it is just random whether he is up, down or neutral. He can be winning consistently and go down, or losing all the time and go up. He has even won some of his toughest races while down.
 
I always just race my highest guy over and over. He's a 37 and I'm only a 33 in B spec. I'll put him in 9 hour endurace races by himself (and he will sitll lap everyone 121 times) in the Formual GT with a down arrow and he'll come out with an up blue arrow, its weird.
 
Viagra usually helps with that problem! :dopey:


Just run him, he will be a bit slower but I think he levels upfaster when he is down!
 
The 'down' arrow doesn't mean you shouldn't race him, it just means he might be a little off the pace.

A win always cheers them up again - I think the arrow=fatigue idea is incorrect, it seems to be a little more complex than that and related to overall mood.
 
It's not "mood," it's "form." Now, exactly what that means is anyone's guess. ;)

While pointing down their form isn't as good, and I've noticed that they tend to make a few more mistakes if run hot. It also seems like the best way to get form back up is to actually run them through a race, keep them fairly close to the middle of the meter, and try to get a win for them.
 
I don't understand those mood swings at all. I think I got a chick driver because she can't make up her mind on how she "feels" that day. I have put my driver into races with a ridiculously overpowered car and watch him/her tank against Miadas and stuff. When he/she gets like that I just go into my old high school football coach mode, "Run it again, we'll be here all night till you get this right, Nancy". She's in a good mood right now, but who knows how long that will last.

Form is probably like being "in the zone". You know, that feeling that you sometimes get when your playing GT5 and absolutely killing it, you see every turn 4 corners ahead, the closest car is 20 seconds down and not even a bj could distract you. That's "in form" bro.

I've got 4 bobs, two are down two are normal. I try to rotate through them so I don't over-use a driver.

Or, just do what I do, and not give a damn about his mood... just make him drive anyway.
 
Yeah, my Bob was being a Debbie Downer last night and I just kept pushing him. I finally created a second Bob at the beginning of the night, but didn't feel like leveling him, so I ended up just pushing my original till he picked up his mood.

I don't care what his mood is, we need to make some money. I go to work everyday no matter my mood, same goes for him.
 
If Bob doesn't race, Bob doesn't get any pudding...
 
As far as I can tell it is just a number of races. Does not seem to matter if he is in the car or on the sidelines his mood arrow will change over the course of a few races. Most of the time I let them set when they are orange and use the blue or green drivers but I have used the orange as well and it really does not seem to matter. They will be orange for a few B-Spec game days and bounce back just like the blue ones will go green and then orange after a few days driving or not.
 
HAHA this thread is funny.

My guy is level 14 and for the first time I have run into him not being able to use the same car I used to beat his races. Looks like I have to freaking power them up more or something.
 
I just get out the whip and make him go back and race! None of those wimpy "mood swings" on MY team... :grumpy:

Seriously, I only have one guy and I see little difference in performance regardless of his starting mood.

Don't set Pit Strategy , just run them into the ground .

Rinse & Repeat .

If they start loosing , Vrtually kill them and replace them .
