I've been trying to do the expert rally event, the car is fast enough on the straight, though every time I attempt to brake for a corner the car seems to start a weird slide, it either spins round or spins into oversteer, I'm wondering is their any way to make the car brake like a normal car?

This is on the tarmac event.

I don't know if you know this, but the default brake balance is wrong on most of the cars. I set the front brakes between 7 and 9 depending on the severity of the spinning.

Stratos is a blast and turns on a dime. You step over the line of grip, you are wasted on a turn. Break early and in a straight line. Accelerate half way through the turn.

Haha, same handling Stratos as previous PS2 version of GT. :)

First try changing brake bias as a member above me said, if that didnt work upgrade to a LSD. You should have 3 rear settings for it, you want to lower the deceleration setting. its usually set at 40, I would drop it to around 10-15 depending on preference. Thats a surefire way to tame down the back end.
