How to install parts later?

I have a question, if you don't say to install the parts right away, how do you install them later? Because I have accidentally bought a Semi-Racing Air Filter and fitted it when it already had a Racing Air Filter and downgraded my car. How do I take it off and replace?

You take the car in question to a Time Trial on the circuit of your choice, go into the settings menu and then select the parts you want to run on the car.

I actually tried that before and I was wondering why is there only downforce there. Now I realized you need to press R2 and R1 to exit. My bad.
