I restarted my game after my memory card being formatted, and i'm running the Honda CRx Sir '90. How should I know when to buy a new car, being that it wouldent be worth buying more upgrades for it, and it would be worth it to just buy a new one. I dont want to waste alot of cash upgrading this car, when i know i can buyanother. But I also dont want to buy a new one to early and be out of money.

Thank You,

Uh... when you need it.

If you just did the Beginner cup, you could buy a new car to do the FR, convertable etc. races, and even if you do buy one before you need it, nothing's stopping you from using the old one...

I suggest that you buy a 95' RX-7 Type R-S(FD, J), that is the car that I stated out with and I used it a long time, it should cost Cr.13,614 and when you do all the upgrades you should be cranking out about 580BHP, or what alot of people have done is to buy a used Subaru (can't remember what model) because of all the different races you can do right of the bat.

Hope that helps

IMO the CRX fully upgraded should be enough for the moment, you might not expect much, but fully tuned it can take a standard Ford GT or Pagani Zonda :D

Find an S2000, buy an S2000, it will be all you need to win many races. Plus, it is very easy to drive.

I personally like the 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 Turbo(J) (900+ HP fully tuned    )

As an example of how powerful this car is, I suggest you check out these pics....

2nd place and 1st place in a 200-point race! :nervous:  :scared:

Allright, i just found myself with 13k, i'm still going to keep my current car, just upgrade until I win Capri? smart idea?

why buy a car? do the Rally d' Umbria on easy mode in special condition races and win the CADILLAC CIEN. With this car you can win many races stock.

Well... i'm only 1.3 percent done with the game ;) and i'm trying to figure out some stuff that will help me through the game... and cars seems like the main thing hear ;)

winning cars and using them will get you through the game. It saves money which in turn lets you buy upgrades for those prize cars, or lets you buy faster cars.

it is possible to beat the race with your car(just tried it out). but you will have to do something about the acceleration (i'm sorry but this car sucks at gaining speed) you dont have to do a transmission upgrade but at least upgrade the flywheel and clutch and do a lvl 1 weight. this should be enough for a skilled driver to beat the renault turbo... only problem you would have is the fact that the renault is turboed and will probbaly catch up to you in the straights. If you have problems go ahead and upgrade to a turbo or N/A kit and some other engine mods.

After you get the CIEN you can enter the MR series in the beginner class and win the Lotus Esprit which lets you do British races. The Cien can race in all the american series races except for the muscle car. you can also turn around and win most of the special condition races which equals more cars.
