How to make 4WD's squat during launch?

I've got fully upgraded (power and suspension) R32, R33 and R34 GT-R's (the Premium models, if that makes a difference) and wanted to try get them to squat down during hard launches, like how they do in real life below:

I realise it won't be as good as this drag car version.

Or in action:

Just makes them look so much faster when they are squatting down at the back, especially if they still do so while you're racing off down the road.

Anyone able to make them do this in GT5?

Damn, squatting AWD is faster? I always go for a high rear percentage of power vs front & get them to act more like RWD until they need the front to grip.

But I like the look when the fender gap is equal or a Lil lower in the front. It looks more aggressive to me like that. Just my 2cents.

Drag suspensions tend to be softer to utilise weight transfer to get more grip out of the drive wheels, which is why they appear to 'squat' as you put it. Just experiment around and see what you can come up with.

I've tried playing around with the settings, but don't really know what i'm doing - hence me making this topic and hoping someone could figure it out and post the settings.

I'm not worried at all if it makes the car slower/harder to corner by being able to squat down under accelleration, i just love that look when it does so (like the R34 squatting all the way down the road in the second vid above).

Sometimes i just build 'street' cars in Forza/Gran Turismo. Basically all that means is all the HP upgrades (with the exception of exhausts - i usually choose the best sounding one) and suspension upgrades, so i can lower the car as far as it will go (for looks, just like you see on cars in real life).

But yeah, getting the cars to squat seems to be slightly difficult to work out how to do. Have even raised the suspension to its highest, made the back really soft and the front hard - but no dice. :(

Don't think you can do that in GT5, those real drag skyline's make more than 1000bhp in GT5 the RB26's max is sadly only about 800bhp.

try softening the rear suspension springs and the compression dampers and stiffen the rebound dampers. let me know how it goes

There's your problem. Try minimum front AND rear spring rates.
