HI all ,

I'm new Here! And of course a Gran Turismo enthusiast ;)

When Gt4 was released here in The Netherlands I bought it immediatly , so now i've been trying out how to make movies but all i could think off didn;t work.

I got plenty of Normall photo's...

When i got to my Home... and then into Photo Lab... press on Film it says : no data.

Does anyone can help me how to make movies , cut pieces from a replay for example?

Btw... nice forum!!
Like to spend some time here :)

Saluti!

Film won't show up unless you SAVE IT AS FILM

I.e:When you take a picture it asks you where you would like to save it..

You choose....film..

If you choose picture,it's bigger on your memory card but if you choose film,it takes up less space but once you "develop" it,it becomes a normal photo...

And to make a video you should buy a capture card.

This is going to sound stupid but I am not sure how to take pictures from a saved replay. I know how to take pictures using photo travel but your car is stationary in these pictures. I want some action shots like drifting and backfire. Can anyone help me here.

Thanks

@ Machone : Ok many thanks! I'll try it out!

@ Swervekid : As i want to get in Photo mode when i'm watching a replay... i think you got to press the almost forgotten butten ;) "select"

To take pictures from a replay, you must be playing the replay in replay Theatre, not from the replay button in a race menu.

The question is how to capture motion video, not still photos. The answer is that you can't, at least not using the PS2. You can, however:
  • Purchase a video capture card for your PC (assuming you have one) and plug the composite/svideo cable from the PS2 into that, then use the software you got with the card to capture MPEG/AVI video.
  • Do something similar to the above, only with a VCR or DVD recorder.
