how to move cockpit cam left/right?

how do you do it? or is it only for specific cars? or a wheel..?
i was just watching this youtube video

and if you go to the 00:22 mark to the 00:29 mark he move the cockpit camera.
ive tried all the buttons on the sixaxis and nothing has happened.
 
Try going into the controller options, and see what the listed controls are.

I haven't checked in GT5P yet, but in GT4 you needed to use the Dpad on a wheel to look left and right. You couldn't do it using a DS2.
 
Delphics hit the nail on the head. Go to control options and remap them.

Play around with the settings a bit and see how you like it. I found that mapping them to the right stick soon became infuriating to use and now have them mapped to L1/R1.

Enjoy, it's especially good in the cabin view and you can notice lots of little details, like Corvette being written on the passenger side of the dash in the Z06. Sad..... but hey!
 
What if you're using a G25, for example? Are those assigned already? Can I assign left/right view to any buttons?
