If you have wonder how to pronounce Finnish names like Häkkinen, Mika, Salo, Mäkinen etc. here is site where you can listen and learn!!!!! :eek: :eek: :eek:

Cool - nice that someone did the work. But you have to admit it's kind of funny that it takes a webpage full of sound recordings to get the rest of the world to understand your language.

everything is pronounced as i expected though. i just cant follow finnish spoken in a conversation at ALL.

There are only 5 million people in Finland and Finnish is spoken only in Finland, so yes it takes.

I wouldn't mind if there would be page which would teach how to pronounce English or German names.
