How to resume a saved enduro?

I've started Suzuka 172 lap race and saved at the halfway point, how do i resume the race?
I can't see the option to resume the race anywhere

If it is like it used to be in older GT versions.
Go to the same race or try to start a different one. It will pop-up that you are in a race and if you want to continue/abort it.....

AHHHHH!!!!

Just tried to start another race and looks like my midrace save from last night is gone

All i had to do was put the disk in and it automatically made me continue the race. As far as i could tell i wasnt even given the option of going to arcade mode, course creator or GTTV. Maybe you didnt save the race progress properly?

If you have a race saved, when you load up the game it will direct you immediately to it. If you got a "normal" game loading screen, that means your save wasn't valid or was for some reason lost.

I've just started and saved the same race, exited the game and loaded it up, it's not saving the game for me

Is there anyway to reinstall the spec 2 update?

Dont worry about it guys, i've just tried again and now it has worked...dunno what happened to last nights race or the one i just saved a few minutes ago...could my HDD be on it's way out?

Maybe a dumb question but how do you save a race?
I entered the 9h Nurburgring, raced 15minutes then I suddenly had to leave but I couldnt find the save option anywhere?

Head for the pits, the "save" option shows up in the pop up menu when you enter the pits. Before Spec II you just had to define what tyres and how much fuel. Now, there's another field, for the save feature.

If you do save, you get a message telling you to quit the game. You can't quit only THE RACE after saving. The saving is about the entire game, you will freeze it. And whenever you want to play it again you will have no option but to: a) continue the race; b) quit the race.

So, setup a second PSN ID to play online with your friends while your main account is blocked by an ongoing long enduro.
