There is no easy soloution or a quick fix to setting a transmission correctly it takes an experienced eye , a little know how ,and a bit of free time to run the car

Firstly go to speed test ,let the car run with the default transmission to find out what type of speed your car will actually run at

Then open your settings look at the graph on the right hand side then click the Current Performance tab

There are only 2 lines that are of interest to you at this point, those lines the Max Power ,Max Torque

These lines are extremely important as they give the "power band" of the car and all of these will change from car to car and if you change levels of turbo kit

The Power Band starts at the revs stated at Max Torque(3rd line) and finnishes at Max Power(2nd line) in the current performance tab

Now what you should do at this point is try and setup your car so it runs at the same speed with the default transmission but at your cars Max Power revs (THIS IS THECAR RUNNING AT ITS OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE)

Eg: if your cars Max Power is 1027/6900rpm ,then you should try and get the car to run at approx 6900rpm (NOT TO REDLINE)

You do this by running the car and looking at your rpm at your top speed

Then you go to the gear before that and shorten or lengthen that gear so the gear above starts at the Max Torque line

Eg:in a 5 gear set up with the 5th gear already tuned to its Max Power you then change your 4th gear so the 5th gear will start at its Max Torque

You then repeat the process to 2nd gear ,the first gear you should tune with the Drivetrain(L.S.D) to prevent wheelspin

Thanks, this should help me with tuning my transmission. A quick question though. IF I replace a stock default transmission with a Fully Customizable one BUT don't change any settings, is my car better off with it or not? Like, is there a difference?

No ,not untill you change the gearing in it ,on cars where the power band is right on the end of the rev limit ,you wont notice anything ,but when the power band is mid to low range ,you will probably miss the power band altogether unless you customise your gearing to match
