How to setup a race between friends (offline)

How would you guys setup a race between friends with only one wheel?


Have a few friends coming over tonight and want to setup a bracket racing event or tournament or something fun; how would you set it up?

I was thinking something simple like a $1-5 a race and try to beat each other’s times, with first and second take the cash….Thoughts…
 
What about 2 player or are you looking for some differnt like a time trial. You guys can take turns with the wheel.
 
Two player arcade mode. Best two of three races. Each gets one shot with each controller. Fastest overall time gets pick for final race.

^^^ I think I may try something like this. I was going to try and setup a tournament style play with double loss elimination but will probably just be easier to do a two player arcade mode and let folks wage $ if they like.

What about an enduro with dollars and beers for the quickest lap and sector and maybe for "most laps completed in 20 minutes"or something... That's how I am going to be doing the 'ring 24hr Aspec 💡
 
Ohh, that's a pretty good one! It'l help me complete another enduro too!!!

On second thought, it wouldn't be an even race, would it; the tires would be worn down from the previous drivers.

When driving with friends its common that everybody have diffrent skills in the game. Try to work out a handicap system like adding weight to the winner in every race, and light the last place car or something. After a while the times should be pretty equal. The next time you are competing you just continue with the handicap you had last time.
