How to start practicing?

Hi, I have a more general question for you guys who drift already.

Me and my Silvia Spec-R Aero are hunting for some practice.

But I'm clueless as to where to get some free time with just me and her and a track..

I've tried qualifying laps for races, but there are no replays avaliable there.

Do you guys just run a race and forget about the other drivers?

Is there a spot where I can take my lovely Silvia alone just me her and the track? With no time limits and such?

...have u tried arcade mode? perhaps the Free Run :lol:

Oh yeah, i forgot to add; if u want more tracks to practice on just race on the single player in Arcade (easy mode).

lol... damn... what percent complete r u in gt3??? just about any course is good for drifting.. apricot hill and special stage route 5 are good practice courses.. they have good drifting opportunities on them.. and u should probably use sim tires.. it makes ur drifts look more realistic

omg.... sims do not make your drifts look more realistic............. What tires do you know in real life break traction that easy....... Dont make false claims like that......I'm not gonna even continue saying why they arent realistic as far as breaking traction goes...

... so quick to anger.. its just my opinion.. i like being able to go sideways a 50mph through a turn. i always go too fast w/ the other tires and dont get to enjoy the drift... For me driftin is like sex, u want it to last long, and be fast, but not too fast..

Been having sex with a car I see.... You know the gas tank opening isnt a vaginia............ and that wet stuff isnt what you think it is... Next time take a lighter to it you'll see...

I think the best way is Free Run and drift every course. Then to gain speed and control, go to single player races. Has any one won against normal or hard, drifitng every corner? I think its insanely hard. Best i got was 3rd place normal.

BTW
Sims = Simulation. The purpose of those tires are to SIMULATE RL tires. I think it says that when u buy ur tires.

actually i prefer long, slow, and with lots of crazy moves...i mean angle :rolleyes:

Sims will go well on your stock powered car to simulate RL tires, allowing you to peel out when tcs is turned off. Just keep in mind, they are intended for stock power, not 400+ HP cars, then the behavior is uncharacteristic of tires....you don't slide like that in reallife without blowing your tires... in hot tarmac that is.
