How To Tell?

With the old GT games, you could tell if it was N/A or a Turbo on the specs sheet, before you bought it.

Now I was wondering is there any way to do this in GT4?

It's just for the more obscure cars I don't know nothing about...

Most cars in GT4 can be either. A few cars are NA or turbo only. You get to choose when you start modding.

Is that true? I know you can make a stock NA car into a turbo car and compete in turbo only races but can you make a stock turbo car into an NA so that it can compete in an NA only race? I don't think so...

And can a stock supercharged car be made into either of the others? That is, can you remove the SC and make it NA or buy a turbo?

As far as the original question. The only way I know is to select the NA/Turbo display in the garage (I don't know the exact wording on the display button).

List the Cars according to Aspiration (that's what the button says) in the garage. It will say NA/Turbo/Supercharger accordingly.

It's been discussed before, but it's designed to stop you testing cars for free. PD wants you to think carefully about the cars you buy, not go through trial and error until you find the right one.

Buy the car, DON'T get in, exit GT mode, go into Arcade mode, free test, reset ps2, no money lost
