How will GT4 stack up to other available racing games?

i've heard many people say that gt-4 is the best racing game ever made
but how about those other games that are out or are coming out for x-box?

How does gt-4 stack up against let's say Need for Speed: 2, Toca racer 2, or project Gotham racing 2.

Sooner or later some of these games will challenge gt-4 for racing game supremacy.

how could could gt-4 be called a great racing game when it is missing ferrari, lamborghini, and porsche?
 
Well, GT3 is allready better than most of the racing game out there becasue thats what they are racing games, not Sim games! NFSU2 is for ricers who want big speakers in there truck, Toca Race Driver looks nice but dont know it can come close to GT4's graffics, and ive played PGR2, not all that great.
 
In my opinion, Gran Turismo doesn't need Ferrari, Porsche or Lamborghini. It is great anyway.
 
It doesn't take a donkey with earmuffs to figure out that it will dominate all racing games. Unsurpassed graphics. Generous amount of cars. Gran Turismo name.

What a retarded thread, well done. Ya see theres a reason I don't do threads, it's because I'm not very good at them, I wish fellow members who were crap at threads did what I do, not make them.

STUPID, it's like asking how can yoshis island be a great platform game because it doesn't have sonic the hedgehog in it. GTO got it in one, GT4 will own every racing game (with the expection of GTR), and others will try to match it.

EHHHH???? How can games that got released AGES ago challenge the uber racing game it self? The only challenge GT4 will have in the next year or so, that I can see is that other one on the PS2 (it's name slips me but it begins with an E, but looks rather special), GTR (like I said before), and Forza.
 
... but GT3 (japanese version) had already a LAMBORGHINI!!! the diablo JGTC car which ran in the GT 300 class and still does race against the modenas, garaiyas, moslers,m3 gtrs,... but it´s so UNFAIR that this beautiful car is only in the japanese game(but i hope it will come in GT4!!!)
 
Number 1 - All the GT games are better than the games you listed

Number 2 - The only XBOX game that will even come close to GT 4 is Forza Motorsport, and it's not even on your list.

Don't know. It's not out yet.

However, Need For Speed 2 was released in 1997 - I suspect GT4 will be better.
