How would you like to see PD using the extra time it's got til the release. Whatever the real reason for the delay I would like to see what you would like to see added that is a real possibility of being added that isn't in as of yet.

For me I would like to see all the cars given the racing mods, although hay have been confirmed, it was only for a few cars.

i would just like them to contniue to do whatever it is that they are doing so that we will get the highest quality game that they can give us. But i would love it if the made sure the race mods were back:)

I'd put cars and racing mods above graphic improvements, since GTC looks great already & I fear that if they push the PS2 far, more popup & slowdown will start to occur.

Would like them to push for the Ferrari License, and work on race mods :) .

More features and effects like back fire and more cars and tracks.

Adding more cars and tracks would be nice. Maybe working on the physics.

..ONly thing I really really want is Tsukuba, more smoke and skid marks. Thats kinda it, really.

Race Mods for all of the cars and improving the AI.

I agree with you 100%.

I loved that about GT2. Having several different color race car mods available for each car was great. One bad thing about GT2 was not all the cars had racing mods available for them.

i think back fire will be included in it, it was in many pictures that i have seen, theres one of the skyline, (i beleive) in the picture thread, and there was also one of a wallpaper with the Honda integra.... so im poretty sure it will, hopefully :)

Yea, plus I felt whenever I did a race mod on a car, like a road going skyline, it felt unique to me and I would enter it in the JGTC race on their and I felt like I was a fresh team. Though if they do race mods, I'd like to see maybe some race modded cars driven by the AI, preferably not the same race modded cars as me though. :)

Here's your first real world lesson. They're not using the extra time to add more stuff, they're behind on what they originally intended to produce, and need the extra time to fulfill the original design.

At the very beginning of the project, a plan is developed. They make a selection of cars that they want to include, a team works on acquiring the proper licenses and then contact the owners of the cars. They also contact the owners of the tracks, as well as develop the new tracks. Decisions on race mods are decided at the outset.

It doesn't roll around to year two and someone says "Hey let's add this car or that MOd or that track." The extra time is needed because someone didn't plan their time correctly. At that point, it becomes a negotiation between PD and Sony. Sony wants to make the money on the game, and PD wants to produce a quality game.

Your first lesson is called "Time management 101"

From what I've heard it's the online mode that causing the heartache, if thats the case then what wil the guys who make the cars do, they won't be involved in getting the online modeto work so why not get them to do more kits for the cars.

hmm toughie. WELLLL you can never say no too more cars!!! More courses too ofc. Just more more more!!!

That was only speculation, and from only one source. I doubt it is the only reason GT4 is delayed. The delays could be from what we want in GT4 the most, race mods. There is a rumor that PD is busy adding a new Japan street course and this time away from the city. It's more in the 'burbs.'

Some of the PD staff is busy working on GT5 for the PS3, according to Yamauchi in an interview. Maybe this is the reason why GT4 is delayed.

I'd like them to add monster tracks like the N-Ring and Pikes peak. Also some "real" drag strips and Ford Proving grounds for a test coruse, FPG can also be used for a machine tests and they should all be combined into a single run if you choose. And keep test data saved and display underneath the car in the menus so you know exactly what it can do and sort cars by performance.

Oh yeah point to point courses and an open city tracks for cruising and making custom routes.

As for people working on GT5 I beleive their job on GT4 is all done. PD has many members.

during the delay, they might be adding in the motorcycles they tested out as bonuses...there could be special series race in Twin Ring Motegi with only motobikes.....i got this idea from gt3 cuz they did the same thing with the f1's

Even if it's only a few sources, I think the online part is the main area they are trying to perfect, or get close enough to perfection.

Skid marks, and Better AI. - In fact an AI that has a slider from 0 to 10 would be awesome. 👍
Oh - and the old Nürnburg ring - all 8km(?) of it.
Tyre punctures.

In Sega GT, you could acquire sponsors and receive sponsor bonuses for race finishes. It would be cool to have sponsor bonuses and the have the logo on your car. You could start your career with a regular car and get a race car from a sponsored team and then acquire other sponsors as you progress through the game. An improved AI is a must!!!!! A difficulty setting would be very welcomed. Oil changes during race series, saving and exiting race series to race something else, and saving during endurance races is something that needs to happen. Endurance races are too long and get rid of the test track as a race!!! I don't want to be lulled to sleep!!!

i wish in rallies there would be hazards, such as puddle of mud, which u need to avoid
