HP question..

Hi,

I don't know if this has been asked before, but why doesn't the HP match up with some cars?

For example: In the beginnermode you have the European Classics Series. If you watch the competition list there's a Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Speciale '63 with 149 HP at the top of the list.
I came across the exact same model in the second hand list. But this only had 112 HP. So I gave it an engine cleaning/rebuilding at the GT shop. But it still only had around the 112 HP.. :indiff:

I don't get it.. 👎
 
The cars in the A-Spec races and challenges aren't always stock. That's why they show the HP of your opponents, so you know how much power to tune your car for.
 
The AI tunes their cars.

It's not uncommon to see MX-5's with Titanium racing exhaust.
 
The AI is always tuned a bit differently
