HPA Motorsports VW

I have a HPA Motorsports Stage II R32 VW Golf, its the business and packs 508 bhp. I've won a few races in it and its great to drive with fantastic acceleration. My only gripe id i cant enter it for the Schwarzewald League A races in the expert series. The criteria is that cars have to be German, doesn't the fact that it's a golf and has a VW badge on the front make it German?!!!
 
Well, that is certainly open to discussion. But in the end, said discussion is pretty pointless when it simply is not labeled as being a German car in the game. HPA is a Canadian company, the Golf is one of their project cars, thus it is labeled as being a Canadian one - simple as that.
 
Ok that explains it a little although its a shame as its a cracking car. I ended up buying a R8 Quattro to do the job thinking i'd be up against some high spec cars in the expert series, only to find i was up against Lupo's and GTI Golfs, definitely over kill as i was in the lead after 4 seconds lol.
