I've been looking for news of this Spanish übercar, but..

At the 2002 International Motor Show of Geneva, Switzerland, Mazel, an engineering-company from Spain, presented their third Hispano-Suiza prototype.
The HS21, presented at Geneva, in 2000, was followed by the K8-Sedan, in 2001.

The HS21-GTS was the first concept car, which was planned to be produced in a very limited number. Mazel had planned to produce about 6 cars, and to start at the 24h of LeMans (France).
Unfortunately, I haven't heard anything about this project again.
So, will the "Flying Stork" fly again?

............No..it won't..because it's ugly and from the side looks like a cheap F1 knockoff

Ah well, I like it.

It just seemed like this car might have some good engine specs...they didn't release any in 2002...
 
do you know if it's front or mid mounted...

I'd think it's mid..but I can't tell with how the car is shaped..unless the engine is like half in the cab.

n/m it's mid I can tell by the latches....
so ...country or origin, common use..

I'd say it either uses a Merc engine....or some V8

That's what I think...maybe a supercharged V8
 
After looking for hours, I found the specs.

The mid-engined vehicle is equipped with a naturally aspirated, longitudinally mounted 7.0-litre V8 powerplant, driving the rear wheels through a 6-speed sequential gearbox.

No acceleration or top speed figures are available, but the GTS produces maximum power of 447.6 kW and delivers 650 Nm of torque at 5 000 r/min.
 
7.0L making 447kw (600HP)..

sounds like a saleen to me..
and upon looking at the car some more.

it does bare a strong resemblance to a S7

Especially on those side intakes and rear.
