What's wrong with the wheels? They look retro. I like the car, it looks like a muscle car as it is. It will go like a rocket too.

They remind me of these GTS-R rims

Edit 2: Oh yeah, those 2 tone rims are actually an optional extra (one I'd pick at any rate), but the standard ones are the same style but not 2 tone for those worried.

I think the rims are ok...deffinetely not what you see everyday.
The paint is great, very deep red....nice.
Only design point I think is not quite right is the front bar...theres something about the angles that don't look quite right to me. But then again maybe its just the angle the photo was taken and not the front bar at all...

Just go to www.caradvice.com.au or the HSV site to see a lot more angles. I was amazed how much better it looks in black, but I still think it looks good in all colours.:sly:

I do like the addition on the LED daytime lamps... and the additional features. But I still can't get over the design of the rear. What idiot signed those 'approved for production' papers?
Looks like it was designed by a 12-year-old for NFS underground.

Although I'd admit the front of the GTS is too crowded, I actually don't mind it too much.
The Maloo is still the one I'd go for. The rear has been left untouched 👍.

Edit: The front of the Senator looks a bit... Korean. 0_o

Re: Wheels: Those? Musclecar wheels? Noooo...what you're looking for is Torq Thrust, Halibrand, Cragar, E-T...anything from here. http://www.roadsters.com/wheels/

Those want to be Maserati wheels, but had to be changed juuuuust enough to avoid litigation. ;3

Australians do things differently, as I said they remind me of the kind of design flare that early model Commodores had in their rims.:sly:

The HSV GTSR (VS) wheels remind me of 1st gen Viper RT/10 wheels, which I don't like. Though I don't mind the style of the E series 2 line of wheels.

Shouldn't that be the other way around, Viper rims remind you of GTS-R rims? The VS was out first yeah?

Viper RT/10 started life (with those style wheels) in 1992, the VS GTSR is 1996 IIRC.

Wow, I never realise long the Viper has been around.
