Huracan Gr.3 - TC?

I know I'm not the best driver, but compared to the Nissan that I was driving previously in the manufacturers races, this car kind of feels all over the place to me. That's with a lot of time put into it today trying to get a handle on it. I have the traction control set to zero, however it's really hard to accelerate coming out of the corners compared to the Nissan without spinning out. I'm having to ensure that the wheel is practically straight before I really apply full throttle. Is it just this car needs more traction control? I really prefer to have all of the AIDS off as much as possible.
 
Same as, I'm not a driver or into cars that much but I think some cars need TC? Ive watched some good racers on YT and they use TC mainly 1 or 2. I'm using McLaren which I have TC on 2
