Boy, I hope you guys have broadband.
Here are around 50 pictures I took today and yesterday. The pictures that are pointed towards the tree tops are trying to show the strength of the wind. There were a lot of uprooted trees. I took only a few pictures of them. There were several damages boats in my area also (took several pictures of them as well). As you will see, one of the boatdocks was under water. There is one picture where you will see a capsized boat (albeit a tiny one) and you will also see a small, capsized catamaran. You will see a boat that was blown loose and rammed into the walkway and left a big hole in it and its hull. I will give a description above every picture. I took a video yesterday too but I need to find a place to upload it.
Let the modem meltdown commence!
Here is a picture of a tree that got ripped out of the concrete at my moms office complex.
The rest of that tree.
Here is a picture of a tree and a dock.
A picture of a lonely palm tree blowing in the wind.
It's kind of hard to tell in the picture but this grass was getting whipped around good.
Here is a pic of a pier. (Sorry about the tree limb and the blurriness, the wind was very strong).
The same pier and tree limb at a slightly different angle.
The pier from the other side.
Another shot of the pier.
A head-on shot of the pier.
Palm trees blowing in the wind.
The picture of the dock that was under water.
An uprooted tree.
Another one.
The picture of the small capsized boat (It's in the middle of the picture).
The capsized catamaran.
A shot of several docks.
The boat that hit the dock.
Another shot of that boat.
And another (closeup).
A shot of the same dock.
A lonely tree getting whipped around by the wind.
A picture of a boat that had its mast ripped off. You can see the spray of the water too.
And now for the damage at my house. Thank God it was nothing more than a few snapped limbs.
Here you can see the top part of the tree was snapped and twisted.
Another shot.
And another...
And another.
A side shot of the entire tree.
A shot of the same tree showing how the wind has bent the limbs.
A shot showing how strong the wind was.
The damage in my backyard.
Again.
Again.
Again.
A picture of a pine tree that is heavly bowed. I amazed it hasn't fallen yet. Thank God it hasn't.
Another picture of that tree.
More backyard damage.
Another tree that got snapped at the top.
Again.
Another shot of the wind blowing the trees.
