Boy, I hope you guys have broadband. :D

Here are around 50 pictures I took today and yesterday. The pictures that are pointed towards the tree tops are trying to show the strength of the wind. There were a lot of uprooted trees. I took only a few pictures of them. There were several damages boats in my area also (took several pictures of them as well). As you will see, one of the boatdocks was under water. There is one picture where you will see a capsized boat (albeit a tiny one) and you will also see a small, capsized catamaran. You will see a boat that was blown loose and rammed into the walkway and left a big hole in it and its hull. I will give a description above every picture. I took a video yesterday too but I need to find a place to upload it.

Let the modem meltdown commence!

Here is a picture of a tree that got ripped out of the concrete at my moms office complex.

It's kind of hard to tell in the picture but this grass was getting whipped around good.
Picture043.jpg

Here is a pic of a pier. (Sorry about the tree limb and the blurriness, the wind was very strong).

And now for the damage at my house. Thank God it was nothing more than a few snapped limbs.

Here you can see the top part of the tree was snapped and twisted.

Nope, didn't lose a thing. We just got hit by the outer belts of the hurricane. I can only imagine the damage the people who got a direct hit took.

Klostrophobic
Cable prevents hurricanes.

Did you lose anything, Integra?

Looks nasty, a friend of mine was on holiday and got caught in the eye of Charley (I think?) a couple of weeks ago but this looks much worse.

Jesus, thats a lot of damage. The hurricanes we get in New England are pathetic. Ice storms will knock down lots of branches, though.

Yeah, that storm really ****ed us up, grood.

Theres no damage really here, Charles, we are too far inland.
But the roads are filled with pine needles and its still raining right now. Just hard, not to hard, just like a normal rain storm.
The Wind still is here to. You still got the gusts, which are pretty strong, not as strong as yesterday though.

As for today, we at the power go out about 2:30 AM yesterday.. And it just came on at about 3:00PM. which was about 40 minutes ago.
My dad cranked the generater, and we had most of the house rolling with power. I had my TV, PS2 and Fan. The computer would just take too much of the power. My sister got her TV and gamecube, and my mom and dad just wanted air conditioning ( I did, it was like hell here with no power. Its hot as hell. ) and their TV in the living room.

They always say the eye of the storm is the calm part. Is that true? Where those pictures taken before, during, or after the storm?
Its obvious that its during. But here is jacksonville, and Charles, or course lives in the same city, we got the outer band.

We had tornado warnings popping the TV every hour last night for neighboring countys. :grumpy:

Ok, The last time I kind of kept to myself about this hurricane stuff. A lot of you had the whole thing covered as far as damage and pics and reports. But two damn hurricanes making the center of the X over my town is about enough. I live in Kissimmee which is a fairly medium size town south of Orlando. Charlie nailed us pretty good, and now Frances just cleaned up what Charlie didn't do. Oh and by the way Ivan is knocking at Florida's door step. Expected to follow Frances foot steps. I don't know about my fellow Floridians but this is wearing me out.
Since I didn't really talk about it before... we lost pretty much every Oak tree in Kissimmee. My house personally lost a huge beatiful tree that my dad planted went we moved here. If you would like to see it, click on my Xtreme pictures its in the back ground. Yeah that fell over. Lost another one in the front yard and our, like many others, lost our carport/porch/shed.
While Charlie did most the work, Frances through all his ruble around. The only thing we lost this time around that wasn't already ruined was my high speed satellite dish.
All complaining aside, to all you floridians in here, keep your eyes on Ivan, I don't think we are out of the hot waters yet.

Thats seriously sucks, its like Florida is under attack by mother nature. She truly is pissed. :scared:

Where in Florida are you, Charley? I also just got the outer belts down here. Nothing but depressing weather and a few wind gusts.
